Clearness, FlatnessAGC Clear float glass is produced by the “Flat Process” which is currently the most technologically advanced method of producing flat glass. In this process, molten glass is floated across a bath of liquid metal. The liquid metal and glass both form perfectly flat parallel upper surfaces. Consequently, the lower surface of the glass which is in contact with the liquid metal is perfectly flat and parallel to the upper surface of the glass. As a result, glass surfaces are micro scopically smooth and brilliant.
