AGC Flat Glass (Thailand) Public Company Limited
The first glass manufacturer in Thailand.
Established in 1963 under the former name of “Thai Asahi Glass” as the joint venture of Thai investor and Asahi Glass (Japan) or AGC Inc. in the present.

Mr. Kiat Srifuengfung has established the flat glass company where is the first flat glass company in Thailand. The company name was “Thai Glass Co., Ltd.”
● 1964 (B.E. 2507)
Asahi Glass Co., Ltd. Joined Thai Glass Co., Ltd. And renamed as Thai-Asahi Glass Co., Ltd. (TAG)
● 1984 (B.E. 2527)
The 1st Float Glass Factory in Thailand to produce Float Glass with Float process.
● 1985 (B.E. 2528)
TAG started to produce the Mirror glass “MIRROTAG”.
● 1988 (B.E. 2531)
TAG has produced the high quality of Heat Reflective Glass by using Magnetic Sputtering Process “SOLARTAG”.
● 1989 (B.E. 2532)
Registered in stock exchange of Thailand as Thai-Asahi Glass Public Company Limited.
● 1991 (B.E. 2534)
Bangkok Float Glass Co., Ltd. Stared to go on process. Construction of production facilities to produce flat tempered glass “TEMPTAG”.
● 1995 (B.E. 2538)
Started to produce Insulated Glass Unit line in Thailand “PAIRTAG”.
● 1996 (B.E. 2539)
TAG was certified for quality of management international ISO9002 by BVQI and named TAG the only one manufacturer of glass industry in Thailand that has ISO for total production processes of product lines from 5 institutes in 6 countries.

Started Rayong factory
● 2002 (B.E. 2545)
Consolidation of TAG and BFG to be one company with 3 factories Sumut Prakan, Rayong and Chon Buri under the name “Thai Asahi Glass Co., Ltd. (TAGC)

Started to produce Laminated safety glass line in Thailand “LAMITAG”
● 2007 (B.E. 2550)
In order to unify the Group band globally under “Asahi Glass Co., Ltd.”, the company name in English and logo was changed to AGC Flat glass Thailand Plc. 100th Anniversary celebration of AGC Japan.
● 2011 (B.E. 2554)
Started to product Laminated Low-E safety glass “LAMITAG-E” as glass for Energy Conservation.
● 2013 (B.E. 2556)
50th Anniversary of AGC Flat Glass (Thailand) Plc.
● 2014 (B.E. 2557)
Started and launched energy saving glass “ENERGY GREEN” to the market.
● 2015 (B.E. 2558)
Increase production capacity of Solar Control and started to product Low-E Glass “STOPRAY”.

55th Anniversary of AGC Flat Glass (Thailand) Plc. under keyword “TRUSTS”
