Celebrating 60 Years of Success: AGC Flat Glass (Thailand) PLC.

AGC Flat Glass (Thailand) celebrated its 60th Anniversary, marking a successful journey as a leading glass company in Thailand and transforming from the former Thai-Asahi Glass to its new identity. The commemorative event showcased "AFT New Vision", emphasising the importance of future sustainability in the glass industry ecosystem. To align with this vision, popular actor-turned-influencer Paul Pattarapon has joined AGC Group (Thailand) to connect with audiences through various media platforms.

Distinguished guests, including Secretary General of the Thailand Board of Investment Khun Narit Therdsteerasukdi and Chairman of Amata Corporation Khun Vikrom Kromadit, withnesses the significant milestones achieved by the Thai-Japan partnership company, now operating under AGC Inc. Thus AGC Flat Glass (Thailand) has firmly established its presence in the global glass industry.

Mr. Taku Ohashi, the president of AGC Flat Glass (Thailand), welcomed the guests in a traditional Japanese "KANREKI" ceremony, honouring the legacy of being Thailand's first flat glass manufacturer. The company has continuously provided innovative solutions to major industries in Thailand, including Architecture, Automotive, and Electronics. 

Mr. Shigeki Yoshiba, the President of Architectural Glass Asia Pacific at AGC Inc., addressed the guests, stating that AGC Flat Glass (Thailand) aims to contribute to the development of high quality flat glass for the upstream supply chain of Automotive, Electric Appliances and Electronics Component Devices, which currently sustain Thailand's major export GDP.
